Read the verification labels
Verified, Connected Data, Human Reviewed and Seller Provided each mean something different. None of them is an audit — treat every figure as a starting point for your own checks.
Request primary evidence
Ask for read-only access or exports from the source systems: payment processor, analytics, ad accounts, app stores and hosting. Reconcile them against the listing.
Test the durability of revenue
Look at cohort retention, churn, customer concentration, traffic sources and how much of the result depends on one channel, one contract or the founder personally.
Confirm ownership and transferability
Verify domain registration, code repositories, trademarks, third-party accounts and any licences that must be reassigned at closing.
Use your own advisers and escrow
The platform does not provide escrow, financing, legal, accounting or settlement services. Engage your own professionals and a reputable escrow service for payment and asset transfer.
Keep communication respectful
Sellers are usually operators running a live business. Serious, specific questions get better answers than blanket lowball offers, and abusive messages can be reported.
